My Beautiful Sydney

MY BEAUTIFUL SYDNEY 



Travelling to Sydney would be fantastic. Firstly, I would go to the beach, probably to Bondi Beach, because it impressed me a lot — the waves, the atmosphere, and the view are just amazing. However, not even Bondi Beach impressed me as much as the Sydney Opera House, which has amazed me more than anything else. I would definitely like to see it in person, maybe even watch a concert there. 

I also know another great place in the city: Luna Park, an amusement park that is more or less 90 years old and still full of life and fun.

I have never been to Australia before, but I have some friends who went there and told me it was one of the best places they had ever visited. They spent about 20 days, around three weeks, visiting Sydney and Canberra, and they said every day was an adventure.

I would really like to go to Sydney because of its gorgeous beaches and the wide variety of things to do there. I’d also love to explore other parts of Australia, especially places where I could see some of its unique and strange animals — as strange as tigers or elephants, or maybe even kangaroos and koalas!

Sydney Opera House

  When I head to the Sydney Opera House, I usually take a bus, train, or ferry to Circular Quay , since it’s the closest stop and only a quick walk along the harbour. Every time I get closer, I’m reminded of its creator, Jørn Utzon , the Danish architect whose bold and futuristic design completely changed modern architecture. If my family wanted to join me on a guided tour inside, we’d have to pay for it, since only the outside and public areas are free. Still, exploring the interior and hearing the stories behind the building always feels worth it. It also makes sense that the Opera House was added to the UNESCO World Heritage List in 2007 , thanks to its artistic and engineering brilliance. And if I go by car, having an Opera House membership helps me save money at the nearby Wilson car park — a small but welcome bonus.
